Selecting the inserts and
insert tools
These guarantee the correct lever length,
fit accurately in all situations and are
designed to have sufficient strength.

When using inserts on
torque wrenches with a
square drive, ensure
they have been
manufactured to comply
with standards and are
the correct shape and
size for the nut or bolt to
be tightened.

connection will be a
good fit and that the
drive profile will fit
exactly.

Ensure the maximum
permissible load of the
