Stay Arm/at-home mode and Away Arm/off-site mode
Your alarm system has two operating modes for activating the alarm.
In off-site mode (Away Arm) all sensors/contacts are armed, however, in at-home mode (Stay
Arm) individual sensors/contacts can be muted. (Thus, you are able to open, for instance, the
bedroom window secured with a magnetic contact in the evening or to pass by the motion detector
installed in the hallway without triggering an alarm, although the alarm system is activated (with
further sensors).)
Note: For this, the contacts/detectors which should be muted in at-home mode have to be registered
in a certain sensor zone (14-16)!
Sensor zones
If you wish to use certain comfort functions (e.g. designating sensors in at-home mode) or to
install additional sensors, you are in need of the sensor zone overview (refer to tables on p.
39/40).
A total of several zones in different blocks is available for registering sensors:
Block 1 (zone 00): remote controls only (max. of 10 units)
block 2 (zones 1-5): Detectors (pre-assigned ex works to other models, limited use in this
device version for other sensors as well)
block 3 (zones 6-10): Door/window contacts
block 4 (zones 11-13): Motion detectors
block 5 (zones 14-16): sensors muted in at-home mode.
Determining a sensor zone
The sensors included in the scope of delivery are already registered ex works in the corresponding
blocks (block 3: door/window contacts, block 4: motion detectors). If you wish to determine the
exact zone (e.g. for for allocating a specific name), simply trigger an alarm on the affected sensor
and have an alarm notification sent. The zone number is mentioned in the automatically generated
SMS.
Example: Determining the sensor zone for door/window contact
Activate the notification function.
Activate the alarm system and open the window/door with the installed door/window contact: The
siren sounds now.
Switch off the alarm. After having triggered the alarm, you receive a SMS notification via your
mobile device: e. g. (0001) Alarm System:06 Zone Door Sensor Alarming, thus, your door/window
contact is registered in zone 6.
