Schützen Sie Ihr Funkgerät und das Zubehör vor Nässe, Hitze, Staub und starken Erschütterungen. Vermeiden Sie Betriebstemperaturen unter -20°C oder über +50°C.
Die Reichweite hängt von vielen Faktoren ab. Neben der gesetzlich festgelegten Sendeleistung spielen z. B. die Position der Antenne (sie sollte senkrecht stehen und frei abstrahlen können), die Energieversorgung (voll geladene Akkus schöpfen die Reichweite voll aus) und vor allem die Umgebung, in der gefunkt wird, eine Rolle. Jedes "Hindernis" (Hügel, Gebäude, Bäume) senkt die Reichweite, manche Materialien (z. B. Stahlbeton, Felsen) schirmen besonders stark ab.

Vorbereitungen für den Betrieb Gürtelclip Gürtelclip anbringen/abnehmen Setzen Sie die Rillen am Gürtelclip auf die Führungsschienen oben am Gehäuse und schieben den Gürtelclip nach unten, bis der Schnappriegel einrastet. Zum Abnehmen drücken Sie den Schnappriegel oben am Gürtelclip vom Gehäuse weg und schieben den Gürtelclip nach oben.
Aufladen der Akkuzellen in der Ladeschale Vergewissern Sie sich, dass beide Funkgeräte ausgeschaltet sind! Stecken Sie das Netzteil in eine 230 V-Steckdose und verbinden es mit der Ladeschale. Stellen Sie die Funkgeräte in die beiden Ladeschächte. Die beiden Kontroll-Lampen an der Ladeschale leuchten rot, die Akkuzellen werden nun geladen. free com m 70 0 Der Ladestrom ist bei diesem Ladegerät mit ca. 75 mA bzw. 150 mA fest eingestellt. Sicherheitshinweise Ladegerät Nutzen Sie die Doppel-Tischladeschale nur zum Laden der im Lieferumfang enthaltenen NiMH-Akkuzellen! Stellen Sie nie Funkgeräte, die mit nicht-wiederaufladbaren Batterien bestückt sind, in die Ladeschale! Es besteht Explosionsgefahr! Betreiben Sie das Ladegerät ausschließlich mit dem mitgelieferten Netzteil. Missbrauchen Sie es nicht als Gleichspannungsquelle für andere Anwendungen. Verhindern Sie, dass Metall-Kleinteile in die Ladeschale gelangen.
Energie-Management Der Stromverbrauch dieses Funkgeräts ist sehr gering. Wird kein Signal empfangen, aktiviert sich die elektronische Batteriesparschaltung. Ist die Kapazität des Akkupacks gering oder sind die Batterien fast leer, meldet sich das Gerät mit einem Warnton, der sich alle 10 Sek. wiederholt. Laden Sie jetzt die Akkuzellen bzw. ersetzen Sie die Batterien. Batteriestand-Anzeige volle Kapazität halbe Kapazität wenig Kapazität: der Batterie-leer-Warnton ertönt alle 10 Sek.
Senden/Empfangen Halten Sie die PTT-Taste gedrückt und sprechen Sie im Abstand von ca. 5 cm mit normaler Lautstärke ins Mikrofon, im Display erscheint das TX-Symbol. Wenn Sie Ihre Nachricht beendet haben lassen Sie die PTT-Taste wieder los, das TX-Symbol erlischt. Mit dem Einschalten ist das Funkgerät empfangsbereit (sofern nicht gerade gesendet wird). Wenn das Gerät ein Signal empfängt erscheint im Display das RX-Symbol.
Pilotton-Verfahren CTCSS aktivieren/deaktivieren Drücken Sie 2 x die Menü-Taste: CTCSS OF blinkt. Wählen Sie mit den UP/DOWN-Tasten eine Pilotton-Nummer. Bestätigen Sie mit der PTT-Taste. Zum Deaktivieren drücken Sie wieder 2 x die Menü-Taste: die PilottonNummer blinkt. Wählen Sie mit den UP/DOWN-Tasten 00. Bestätigen Sie mit der PTT-Taste.
VOX aktivieren/deaktivieren Drücken Sie 4 x die Menü-Taste: VOX OFF blinkt. Wählen Sie mit den UP/DOWN-Tasten die gewünschte Empfindlichkeitsstufe. Bestätigen Sie mit der PTT-Taste, VOX erscheint im Display. Zum Deaktivieren drücken Sie wieder 4 x die Menü-Taste: die eingestellte Empfindlichkeitsstufe blinkt. Wählen Sie mit den UP/DOWN-Tasten OFF. Bestätigen Sie mit der PTT-Taste, VOX erlischt im Display.
Rufton Drücken Sie die Ruf-Taste, so wird ein Tonruf ausgesendet, der von der Partnerstation empfangen wird. Im Display erscheint das TX-Symbol. Sie haben die Wahl zwischen 15 verschiedenen Rufton-Melodien. Rufton-Melodie auswählen Drücken Sie 8 x die Menü-Taste: C01 erscheint im Display. Wählen Sie mit den UP/DOWN-Tasten eine Rufton-Melodie. Bestätigen Sie mit der PTT-Taste.
Tastenquittungston aktivieren/deaktivieren Drücken Sie 11 x die Menü-Taste: tO OFF blinkt. Wählen Sie mit den UP/DOWN-Tasten tO ON. Bestätigen Sie mit der PTT-Taste. Deaktivieren: drücken Sie wieder 11 x die Menü-Taste: tO ON blinkt. Wählen Sie mit den UP/DOWN-Tasten tO OFF. Bestätigen Sie mit der PTT-Taste. Zweikanal-Überwachung (Dual Watch) Wenn Sie nicht nur auf einem Kanal, sondern auf zwei Kanälen empfangsbereit sein möchten, benötigen Sie die Zweikanalüberwachung.
Geräuschüberwachung aktivieren/deaktivieren Drücken Sie 13 x die Menü-Taste: RM OFF blinkt. Wählen Sie mit den UP/DOWN-Tasten RM ON. Bestätigen Sie mit der PTT-Taste. Zusätzliche Funktionen UKW-Radio Im stabo freecomm 700 ist ein UKW-Radio integriert (Frequenzbereich 87,5 - 108 MHz). Durch kurzes Drücken der FM-Taste schaltet das Gerät in den RadioModus.
Tastatursperre Zum Schutz vor Fehlbedienung können Sie die Tastatur (außer PTTund Rufton-Taste) sperren. Tastatursperre aktivieren Drücken Sie die Menü-Taste 3 Sek. lang: im Display erscheint das -Symbol. Tastatursperre deaktivieren Drücken Sie die Menü-Taste 3 Sek. lang: im Display erlischt das -Symbol. Displaybeleuchtung Durch kurzes Drücken der Menü-, UP- oder DOWN-Taste wird die Displaybeleuchtung für ca. 5 Sek. aktiviert.

Important provisions for the operation Belt Clip Attaching/taking-off belt clip Place the grooves of the belt clip on the guide rails on the upper part of the housing and slide the belt clip downwards until the safety catch snaps in. Charging the battery cells in the charger Ensure that both radio sets are switched off! Plug the power supply unit into a socket (230 V) and connect it to the charger. Place the radio sets into the two charging shafts. The maximum charging time amounts to 12 hours, afterwards charging is stopped.
Safety instructions for the charger The double tabletop charger must only be used for the charging of the NiMH battery cells that are included in the scope of delivery! Never place radio sets that are equipped with non rechargeable batteries into the charger! There is explosion hazard! The charger must only be operated with the delivered power supply unit. Do not abuse it as DC voltage source for other applications. Prevent small metal parts from penetrating into the charger.
Energy management The power consumption of this radio set is very small. If no signal is received, the electronic battery stand-by mode is activated. If the capacity of the battery cells is low or if the batteries are almost empty, the radio set will emit an audio warning that is repeated every 10 sec. Now you have to charge the battery cells or replace the batteries. Battery status indicator Full capacity Half of capacity Low capacity: The audio warning for weak batteries sounds every 10 sec.
Transmitting/receiving Hold the PTT key pressed and speak with normal voice level and a distance of approx. 5 cm into the microphone, the TX symbol is displayed. If your message is finished, release the PTT key, the TX symbol is no longer displayed. When the radio set is switched on, it is ready-to-receive (unless the set is transmitting). If the radio set receives a signal, the RX symbol is displayed.
Activating/deactivating the pilot tone process CTCSS Press the MENU key twice: CTCSS OF flashes. Use the UP/DOWN keys to select a pilot tone number. Confirm by pressing the PTT key. For deactivating press again the MENU key twice: The pilot tone number flashes. Use the UP/DOWN keys to select 00. Confirm by pressing the PTT key.

Automatic scan The automatic scan permits to find active channels quickly. It scans independently all of the 8 channels and stops as soon as a signal exceeds the squelch threshold. It will start anew, if no signal is available. You can also restart scanning by pressing the UP/DOWN keys.
Incoming call signaling Three different incoming call signaling types are available. Call tone Call tone plus vibration Vibration Selecting the incoming call signaling Press the MENU key 9 x: 1 and start flashing. Use the UP/DOWN keys to select the requested incoming call signaling. Press the PTT key: The symbol of the selected incoming call signaling is displayed. Roger beep When releasing the PTT key after transmission, a signal tone is automatically transmitted.

Additional functions Key lock As a protection against faulty operation you can lock the keyboard (with the exception of the PTT and call tone key). Activating/deactivating the key lock Press the MENU key for 3 sec., the symbol is displayed. For deactivating press the MENU key again for 3 sec., the symbol is no longer displayed. Display lighting By briefly pressing the MENU or an UP/DOWN key, the display lighting is switched on for approx. 5 sec.
For deactivating the SOS function, briefly press the LED spotlight key. Note: This function is also available if the radio set is switched off. Care instructions Protect your radio sets and the accessories against humidity/moistness, dust/contamination, strong vibrations and extreme temperatures. Do not dip the radio sets and the accessories into water or other liquids. Clean the housings of the radio sets by means of a slightly damp, lintfree cloth, do not at all use detergents or solvents.
