Digital mode

ID Code (factory setting: individual call: CALL 1)

The IC code permits to call individual or several radio sets (ALL

CALL).

Note: Each channel can be assigned individually.

Emergency function/alarm (factory setting: OFF)

An emergency function can be assigned to the red button. In case

of an emergency, the automatic emission of an alarm tone can be

activated through a keystroke.

The emergency function is deactivated by a keystroke on the red

button.

Digital encryption (factory setting: OFF)

The digital channels can be protected against eavesdropping by

using a digital encryption key.

The message can only be received when the same encryption key

is set.

Analog and digital mode General functions

Battery stand-by mode (factory setting: 1:4)

For increasing the operating time, the battery stand-by mode is

automatically activated if no radio operation is active for more than

5 seconds or if no key on the radio set is pressed. The function

switches off again as soon as a signal is received or a key on the

radio set is pressed. The dwell times of the sleep mode can be

adjusted with the help of the software (OFF, 1:1, 1:2, 1:4, 1:20).

Speech announcements (factory setting: English speech announce-

ment)

The radio set can be adjusted such that the device settings are

announced in English (or Chinese).
