Cloning
Further handheld radio sets can easily be programmed with your personal settings by cloning
the device data. In this case, the master device is the data transmitter and the slave device is the
data receiver.
For cloning use the optionally available cloning cable to connect both devices.
Switch the slave device on.
For switching the master device into the cloning mode, press and hold the key SK1 for 3 sec. and
in doing so switch the device on. The red status LED lights up.
When the key SK1 is released again, the green LED is illuminated.
For activating the data exchange, briefly press the key SK1.
While the data are exchanged, the red LED on the master device flashes and the green LED on
the slave device.
After having finished the data exchange, the green LED on the master device lights up.
Both devices can now be switched off and the connection cable can be removed.
Troubleshooting
Fault Remedy
Your radio set cannot be switched on.
Charge the battery pack or renew the batteries.
You can neither speak nor hear your radio partner.
Adjust the same channel and possibly the same CTCSS- or CDCSS-tone for all radio sets.
If you are out of reach, reduce the distance to your radio partner.
You do hear your radio partner and your partner does not hear you (Micky-Mouseeffect).
Make sure that the scrambler is either activated or deactivated for both radio sets.
With an active scrambler both radio sets must be adjusted to the same speech scrambling code.
Care instructions
Protect your radio set and charger from humidity, dust, heat and strong vibrations.
Only use original accessories. When using battery packs or chargers which are not provided by
stabo but by third parties, the device output can possibly be reduced and the guarantee becomes
null and void.
Remove the battery pack from the radio set, if you do not use the device for a prolonged period.
Do not dip the radio set and/or the accessories into water or other liquids.
Clean the radio set and the charger only by means of a slightly damp, lint-free cloth; do not at
all use detergents or solvents.
Keep the charging contacts on the radio set and the battery pack clean by means of a dry cloth.
