Maximum charging times
With completely discharged battery packs the battery packs are fully
charged after 12 - 14 hours.
If you want to recharge two half-full battery packs, the charging time
is only 6 -7 hours. Recharging of partly discharged battery packs is
basically possible, however, it reduces their lifetime.
Safety instructions for the charger with power supply
The double tabletop charger must only be operated with the delivered
power supply unit and must only be used for the charging of the NiMH-
battery packs that are included in the scope of delivery! Do not abuse
the power supply unit as DC voltage source for other applications.
Only use the charger in closed rooms. Protect it from humidity, dust,
heat and strong vibrations. The charger should be used only at tempe-
ratures between 5° - 40° C, charging outside the recommended tem-
perature range may result in battery packs which are not fully charged.
Make sure that the radio sets are switched off during charging.
Never place radio sets that are equipped with non-rechargeable batteries
into the charger! There is explosion hazard!
Do not disassemble neither the power supply unit nor the charger.
Ensure that any repair is carried out by qualified personnel only.
Prevent small metal parts from penetrating into the charger. Never
short-out the contacts.
Never short-out the contacts of the battery packs!
Never throw the battery pack into the fire, it could explode due to gas
formation!
Disconnect the device from the mains if you do not use it.
