INSTALLING AND REMOVING THE CIRCUIT BREAKER INSTALACIÓN Y DESMONTAJE DEL INTERRUPTOR AUTOMÁTICO

Follow the steps below to install the circuit breaker (refer

to Figure 3):

(consulte la figura 3):

1. Turn the circuit breaker to the OFF (O) position. 1. Mueva la palanca del interruptor automático en la posición de

abierto (O).

2. Place the circuit breaker into the base with the bolt-on

terminals over the mounting studs.

2. Coloque el interruptor automático en la base con las terminales

atornillables sobre los pernos de montaje.

3. Slide the circuit breaker down so that the tabs on the

lug end of the circuit breaker (A) are securely under

the projections on the mounting base.

3. Deslice el interruptor automático hacia abajo de tal manera que

las lengüetas en el extremo de la zapata del interruptor

automático (A) estén bien sujetadas bajo las proyecciones en la

base de montaje.

4. Install the circuit breaker mounting screw (B).

Tighten to 35 lb-in (4 N•m) after overcoming starting

torque.

4. Instale el tornillo de montaje del interruptor automático (B).

Apriételo a 4 N•m (35 lbs-pulg) después de sobrepasar el par de

arranque.

5. Install a circuit breaker mounting nut (C) on each

stud. Tighten to 75 lb-in (8.5 N•m).

5. Instale una tuerca de montajedel interruptor automático (C) en

cada perno. Apriételas a 8,5 N•m (75 lbs-pulg).

Follow the steps below to remove the circuit breaker: Siga los pasos a continuación para retirar el interruptor automático:

1. Turn off all power supplying this equipment. 1. Desenergice el equipo.

2. Remove the conductors. 2. Retire los conductores.

3. Remove both circuit breaker mounting nuts. 3. Retire ambas tuercas de montaje del interruptor automático.

4. Remove the circuit breaker mounting screw. 4. Retire el tornillo de montaje del interruptor automático.

5. Slide the circuit breaker up so that the tabs on the

lug end of the circuit breaker clear the projections on

the mounting base. Lift the circuit breaker from the

base.

5. Deslice el interruptor automático hacia arriba de tal manera que

las lengüetas en el extremo de la zapata del interruptor

automático no obstruyan los salientes en la base de montaje.

Levante el interruptor automático de la base.
