Switch
Automatic molded case switches open instantaneously at a factory preset magnetic trip
point. Calibrated to protect only the molded case switch itself, when it is subjected to high
fault currents. The trip point is nonadjustable and provides no overload or low level fault
protection.
•
PowerPact™ H-, J-, and L-frame automatic switches are available in unit mount, I-
Line™, plug-in and drawout versions.
•
Accept the same lugs and accessories as equivalent thermal-magnetic circuit
breakers
[1].
•
May be interlocked with another switch or circuit breaker to form a source-changeover
system
•
UL Listed per UL 489 and CSA Certified.

[3] UL magnetic trip tolerances are -20% / +30% from the nominal values shown.
[4] P-frame L-interrupting is available in 480 Vac only.
[5] Withstand rating of 10 kA at 240 Vac.
[6] The withstand rating is the fault current at rated voltage that the molded case switch will withstand without damage when protected by a circuit breaker with an equal continuous current
rating.
[7] B- and R-frame withstand is 65 kA.
