Altistart™ 22 Soft Starters
The Altistart 22 is designed for commercial and normal duty industrial applications, it
uses both voltage and torque control to provide a soft start and soft stop for there-phase
asynchronous motors between 17 A and 590 A. The conformal-coated, printed circuit
boards provide enhanced resistance to harsh environments, increasing the service life of
installations and lowering maintenance costs.
Select the Altistart 22 soft starter using the nameplate full-load ampere rating of the
motor and the table below. The horsepower ratings are for reference only.

The ATS22C21S6,S6U..C59S6,S6U units come with an integrated fan. The ATS22D17S6,S6U..C17S6,S6U units
are ventilated by means of natural ventilation. For more demanding applications, such as those with a greater
number of starts, the Altistart 22 range offers fans as an option. The fans are powered by the Altistart 22 unit and
attach to the back of the device. The fan's noise level is less than 60 dBA.
