7. Tighten the 1/4-20 nuts (provided) onto the captive screws located on
the box side around the main horizontal bus joints. See Figure 2.
7. Apriete las tuercas de 1/4 - 20 (incluidas) en los tornillos cautivos situados al lado de la
caja alrededor de las uniones de las barras horizontales principales. Vea la figura 2.
Note: All three screw/nuts (A) must be tightened to
50 lb-in. (5.6 N•m) for adequate bonding. Do not overtighten.
Nota: Los tres tornillos con tuerca (A) deberán apretarse a 50 lbs-pulg (5,6 N•m) para
que se unan correctamente. No los apriete excesivamente.
8. Secure the units to the wall with the mounting brackets. 8. Sujete las unidades a la pared con los soportes de montaje.
9. Connect the horizontal bus by tightening the Visi-Tite nuts until the
outer head twists off.
9. Conecte las barras horizontales apretando las tuercas Visi-Tite hasta que la cabeza
exterior se desprenda.
Note: If the red disc is visible, the joint is not tight. For maintenance or
relocation, tighten to 600 lbs-in. (68 N•m) with a torque wrench.
Nota: Si el disco rojo está visible, la junta no está apretada. Durante los servicios de
mantenimiento o reubicación, apriete las tuercas a 600 lbs-pulg (68 N•m) con una llave
de apriete prefijado.
10. Remove all broken outer head Visi-Tite nuts and red discs from inside
cabinets, and discard.
10. Retire y deseche las cabezas exteriores rotas de las tuercas Visi-Tite y discos rojos que
se encuentren dentro de los gabinetes.
11. Close the horizontal bus openings at both ends of the meter run with
closing caps removed in step 4.
11. Tape los agujeros para las barras horizontales en ambos lados del grupo de medidores
utilizando los casquillos de cierre que retiró en el paso 4.
Note: Use sealing wing nuts (provided), one at top and one at bottom
of closing cap, when required.
Nota: Utilice tuercas tipo mariposa para cierre hermético (incluidas), una en la parte
superior y otra en la parte inferior del casquillo de cierre, si es necesario.
12. Replace all outer covers. 12. Vuelva a colocar todas las cubiertas exteriores.
