ne of Spyderco’s earliest ﬁxed-blade designs, the Fred Perrin-designed Street Bowie is a

versatile knife, ideal for a wide range of applications. It combines Perrin’s distinctive index-

ﬁnger choil—a brilliantly adept alternative to a traditional guard—and an injection-molded FRN

handle with Kraton rubber inserts for a remarkably stable grip. Its full-ﬂat-ground VG-10 blade is

coated in a non-reﬂective black ceramic coating and carries in an injection-molded polymer sheath.

The sheath’s G-Clip attachment offers a broad range of carry positions.

red Perrin is an accomplished custom knifemaker who has had a tremendous

inﬂuence on modern tactical knife designs. The Street Beat reﬂects his vast

experience as a martial artist, offering a highly functional ﬁxed-blade knife in a compact,

easily carried package. Its Bowie-style blade is full-ﬂat ground VG-10 stainless steel and

features full-tang construction for strength and balance. Hand-ﬁlling polished Micarta

scales and Perrin’s signature index-ﬁnger choil ensure a secure grip and protect the

hand from sliding forward onto the blade. The Street Beat comes with a hand-molded

black Boltaron sheath and an adjustable G-Clip attachment.

d Schempp’s original Rock Salt design redeﬁned the concept of the modern camp knife. The

Schempp Rock takes that evolution a step further by rendering the same qualities of light

weight, highly evolved ergonomics, and reﬁned edge geometry in VG-10 stainless steel. The broad,

ﬂat-ground blade has a skeletonized full tang and a unique dropped-handle design that minimizes

fatigue and increases cutting power by allowing the user to maintain a strong, natural wrist angle.

Its textured, injection-molded FRN handle scales guarantee a comfortable, secure grip and an

injection-molded polymer sheath with grommeted construction and a G-Clip attachment offer a

variety of carry positions.
