ustom knifemaker Peter Carey specializes in meticulously crafted knives made
with premium, state-of-the-art materials. The Firefly, his first collaboration
with Spyderco, captures the spirit of his craftsmanship in a unique production
folder. Built on a framework of skeletonized full stainless steel liners, its contoured
handle is made using orange G-10 scales and handsome carbon fiber bolsters.
The handle is home to a Walker LinerLock
®
mechanism and a saber-ground
VG-10 blade with a highly functional drop-point profile. A two-position clip offers
right-side tip-up or tip-down carry for easy, immediate access.

or Wyoming-based Mike Draper and his wife Audra, knifemaking is a
family affair yeliding everything from tough tactical folders, fine jewelry to
investment-quality art knives. Mike’s new collaboration with Spyderco, the Mike
Draper Folder reflects all ends of that spectrum. Its precision-machined solid
titanium handle wears an intricate swirled texture and a blue anodized spider
web design. The blade is a modified drop-point profile full-flat ground from
VG-10 stainless steel that works in concert with a sturdy Walker LinerLock
®
mechanism. Configured for right-side, tip-up carry.

Spyderco’s familiar look and proven performance characteristics then
supercharges them with the extreme strength of an all-new lock—the
PowerLock
™
. One of the strongest locking mechanism produced, it is housed
within a handle of full skeletonized stainless steel liners and textured G-10
scales. The Tantanka’s business end features a stout saber-ground VG-10 blade
with a pronounced swedge for an acute point. A four-position clip provides tip-
up or tip-down carry on either side of the knife, providing every possible carry
position and makes the knife all-around ambidextrous.
