INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Side and rear of unit needs to be clear of obstacles
to allow airflow through condenser. The rear of the unit
must be outdoors, not inside a building or garage.

A: Remove the air conditioner from
packaging and
place on
a flat surface.

rail and R1 hardware from
packaging
material as shown in
Fig.
A.
NOTE: Top rail hardware and installation is only
applicable to models WA-60FMS1 and WA-80FMS1.

C: Align screw openings on the top rail to those on
the top of the unit. Fig.B
D: Secure top rail to the unit with the 3/8" Screws.

NOTE: For safety reasons, all four(4) screws MUST
be securely fastened.
NOTE: The top rail must be assembled before
installing the unit.

INSTALL THE ACCORDION PANELS
NOTE: Top rail and side p anels at each side are offset
to provide the proper pitch to the rear of (5/16 " ).This is
necessary for proper condensed water
utilization and
drainage. If the side panels are not used, this pitch still
needs to be maintained.
A.Place unit on floor o r sturdy
table. Hold the a ccordion side
panel in one hand and gently
pull back the center to free the
open end. See Fig.1
