From the Data Editor or Viewer menus choose:
Edit
Options...
The Options dialog box contains many settings for configuring SPSS. Click the
Charts tab to
see the available options.

The options control how a chart is created. For each new chart, you can specify:
 Whether to use the current settings or a template
 The width-to-height ratio (aspect ratio)
 If you’re not using a template, the settings to use for formatting
 The style cycles for data elements
