INSTALLATION
NOTE:
 Install only in a shower enclosure.
- Install only in an open
non-pressurized system.
- Do not use with a shuto valve.
- Do not install in a closed
pressurized system.
1. Remove the existing shower head
from the shower arm pipe. Clean
the shower arm threads.
2. Hand tighten the shower arm
hose-bracket onto the threaded
shower arm pipe.
3. If leakage occurs, wrap the shower
arm pipe threads with Teon tape.
4. Insert rubber washers into each
end of the hose.
5. Tighten the hose hexagonal end
coupler onto the shower arm
hose bracket.
6. Hand tighten the hose conical
end coupler onto the threaded
shower handle.
7. Place the conical end coupler into
shower arm bracket holder.
OPERATION
BEFORE ENTERING THE SHOWER
1. Activate and ush the lter by
running hot water through the
shower handle for 1 minute before
using.
2. COOL TO DESIRED TEMPERATURE

MAINTENANCE
1. Reverse the lter cartridge every
month to ensure maximum ltration
performance and water ow.
2. Replace the lter cartridge
(model HHC) every 3 months or
5,000 gallons, whichever comes rst.
FILTER CARTRIDGE
REPLACEMENT
MODEL HHC
FOR SCREWON TYPE OF HANDLE:
1. To Open: Unscrew the handle from
the neck of the shower head.
2. Remove the used lter cartridge.
3. Lubricate the O-rings of the new
lter cartridge with petroleum jelly.
3. Insert the new lter cartridge
into handle.
4. To Close: Hand-tighten the handle
onto the neck of the shower head.
FOR TWISTLOCK TYPE OF HANDLE:
1. To open: Turn the handle counter-
clockwise
and pull away from the showerhead.
(twist o and pull)
2. Remove the used lter cartridge.
3. Lubricate the O-rings of the new
lter cartridge with petroleum jelly.
3. Insert the new lter cartridge
into handle.
4. To close: Insert the handle into the
neck of the shower head and twist
clockwise until locked into positon.
(push and twist on)

This Sprite Shower Filtration System
has been tested for reduction of free
chlorine. The concentration of free
available chlorine in water entering the
system was reduced to a concentration
less than or equal to the permissible
limit for water leaving the system. This
system has not been evaluated for free
chlorine reduction in the presence of
chloramines. Free chlorine reduction
performance may be impacted by the
presence of chloramines in the water
supply.
LIMITED ONE YEAR
WARRANTY POLICY
Sprite Industries, Inc. warrants the
Filtered Shower Handle housing only
(not the cartridge) to be free of defects
for a period of one (1) year when used
under normal operating conditions.
At the time of purchase, it is the
owner’s responsibility to complete the
product warranty information available
on-line at www.spriteshowers.com,
to keep proof of purchase of the unit
and all replacement cartridge(s) and
to document that proper cartridge
replacement and lter maintenance
was performed as specied in the
owner’s instructions. The provisions
of this warranty shall not apply to any
product that has been submitted to:
misuse, neglect, over-tightening, lack of
or improper periodic lter replacement,
repaired or altered by anyone other
than an authorized Sprite Industries
service representative, and will VOID the
warranty in its entirety. Transportation
costs for units submitted for repair or
replacement under warranty to
Sprite Industries, Inc., 1791 Railroad
Street, Corona CA 92878 shall be
paid by the registered owner. This
is exclusive remedy and liability for
consequential damages. There are no
other warranties, expressed or implied,
limited to the extent permitted by law.
