Meaning
The Signal Strength indicator uses bars to show the strength
of the radio signal. The number of bars increases (up to a
maximum of four) as the signal strength increases.
Note : This icon is displayed only when data services are
available.
When no bars are shown, no connection is possible for one
of the following reasons:

No antenna is attached.
䊳
You are outside of the Nationwide Sprint PCS
Network service area.
䊳
The signal strength is too weak.
䊳
A network or account probelm is preventing the
Sprint PCS Connection Card from obtaining service.
Once a connection is established, this icon is replaced by the
Transmit/Receive icon.
The Transmit/Receive indicator lets you know that a
Sprint PCS Vision data connection is active.
