The SHGB(E)-15, OLDR-15, LDR-15, XTM, XTO, LDR-20, OLDR-20 and DDR-20
valves have been redesigned. The design change includes a new enclosing
tube gasket that can easily be identified as a thin, synthetic coated metal
gasket. The old gasket is a thicker type of O-ring with a square cross section,
known as a tetraseal. See the partial cross sections of the valve body above.
The gaskets and the enclosing tubes of the two designs are not interchange-
able. The new enclosing tube assembly with both a wolverine gasket and a
tetraseal are included in the replacement parts kit for the valves listed above.
