Bernat® Pop!™ (5 oz/140 g; 280 yds/256 m)
Blue Chambray (84017) 3 balls
Size U.S. J/10 (6 mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
MEASUREMENTS
Approx 9" [23 cm] wide x 90"
[228.5 cm] long, excluding tassels.
GAUGE
12 hdc and 9 rows = 4" [10 cm].
INSTRUCTIONS
Note: Ch 2 at beg of row does not
count as hdc.
Ch 29.
1st row: 2 hdc in 3rd ch from
hook. 1 hdc in each ch to last 2 ch.
Hdc2tog. Turn. 27 hdc.
2nd row: Ch 2. Hdc2tog. 1 hdc in
each hdc to last hdc. 2 hdc in last
hdc. Turn.
3rd row: Ch 2. 2 hdc in rst hdc.
1 hdc in each hdc to last 2 hdc.
Hdc2tog. Turn.
Rep last 2 rows until work from
beg measures 90" [228.5 cm].
Fasten o.
Tassels (make 4): Cut a piece of
cardboard 6" [15 cm] wide. Wind
yarn around cardboard 80 times.
Break yarn leaving a long end and
thread end through needle. Slip
needle through all loops and tie
tightly. Remove cardboard and
wind yarn tightly around loops
1" [2.5 cm] below fold. Fasten
securely. Cut through rem loops
and trim ends evenly. Sew 1 Tassel
to each corner of Scarf.
