page 2), join Motifs as you go.
First Strip of Motifs
Motif 1: With A, ch 24.
1st row: (WS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from
hook. 1 sc in each of next 9 ch.
Sc3tog. 1 sc in each of last 10 ch.
Turn. 21 sts.
**2nd row: Ch 1. Working
through back loops only, 1 sc in
each of first 8 sc. Sc3tog – PM on
last st for center. Working through
back loops only, 1 sc in each of
last 8 sc. Turn.
3rd row: Ch 1. Working through
back loops only, 1 sc in each st
to 3 center sts. Sc3tog. Working
through back loops only, 1 sc in
each st to end of row. Turn.
Rep last row until 3 sts rem.
Next row: Ch 1. Sc3tog. Fasten
off.**
Motifs 2 to 7: Join A with sl st to
bottom left corner of previous
Motif. Ch 12. Turn.
1st row: (WS). Ch 1. 1 sc in 2nd ch
from hook. 1 sc in each of next
9 ch. Sc3tog over next 2 ch and sp
along side edge of previous
Motif. Work 10 sc up along side of
previous Motif. 21 sts.
