To fit baby head sizes 6/12
(18/24) months.
Note: 1 ball will make 2 Hats.
GAUGE
9 sc and 10 rows = 4" [10 cm] .
INSTRUCTIONS
The instructions are written
for smaller size. If changes are
necessary for larger size the
instructions will be written thus ( ).
Note: Hat is worked sideways.
Ch 25 (27).
1st row: 1 hdc in 3rd ch from
hook. 1 hdc in each ch to last
5 ch. 2 sc in each of next 2 ch. Sl st
in each of last 3 ch. Turn.
2nd row: Ch 1. Working in front
loops only, sl st in each of first
3 sts. Working in front loops only,
1 sc in each of next 2 sts. Working
in horizontal bar only, created by
hdc at front of work, (see
diagram), 1 hdc in each st to end
of row. Turn.
3rd row: Ch 2 (does not count
as st). Working in horizontal bar
only, created by hdc at front of
work, 1 hdc in each st to last 5 sts.
Working in front loops only, 1 sc in
each of next 2 sc. Working in front
loops only, sl st in each of last
3 sts. Turn.

Bernat® Baby Marly™ (10.5 oz/300 g; 221 yds/202 m)
Buttercream (33004) or Apple Blossom (33001) 1 ball
Size U.S. L/11 (8 mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
