MC with sl st in rem loop of center ch of

in each of next 26 (28-30-32) hdc. 1 hdc
in each of last 2 ch. Join with sl st to rst
hdc. 31 (33-35-37) hdc. Turn.
2nd rnd: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each hdc around.
Join with sl st to rst hdc. Turn.
Rep last rnd 3 (4-4-5) times more.
Next rnd: Ch 2. Hdc2tog. 1 hdc in each
hdc to last 2 hdc. Hdc2tog. Join with sl st
to rst st. Turn.
Next 4 (5-5-6) rnds: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each
hdc around. Join with sl st to rst hdc.
Turn.

FINISHING

foundation ch. Ch 1. Work 17 (19-21-23)
sc evenly down left front opening. Turn.
2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc to end of
row. Fasten o.
Right Front edging: 1st row: (RS). Join
A with sl st at base of neck edge before
Body. Ch 1. Work 17 (19-21-23) sc evenly
up right front opening. Turn.
2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in rst sc. *Ch 3. Skip
next 2 sc. 1 sc in each of next 4 (5-6-7)
sc. Rep from * once more. Ch 3. Skip next
2 sc. 1 sc in each of last 2 sc. Fasten o.
Neck edging: 1st row: (RS). Join A with
sl st at corner of right front neck edge
at foundation ch. Ch 1. Work sc evenly
across neck edge to opposite corner. Do
not turn.
2nd row: Ch 1. Working from lef t to right,
instead of from right to left, as usual, work
1 reverse sc in each sc to end of row.
Fasten o.
Sew buttons in position to correspond to
button loops.
