Say goodbye to knitter’s block
FINISHING
Sew front and left back raglan seams.
Place markers on right back raglan edges
2” [5 cm] down from top edge. Sew right
back raglan seam to markers, leaving
open for buttonhole band.
Neckband: With RS facing, A and smaller
needles, K22 (24-24-26) from Back st
holder, dec 2 sts evenly across. K9 from
left sleeve st holder, dec 1 st at center.
Pick up and knit 9 (10-10-10) sts down
left front neck edge. K10 (10-10-12) from
Front st holder, dec 1 st at center. Pick up
and knit 9 (10-10-10) sts up right front
neck edge. K9 from right sleeve st holder,
dec 1 st at center. 63 (67-67-71) sts.
1st to 3rd rows: Knit.
4th row: *K2tog. yo. Rep from * to last st.
K1.
5th and 6th rows: Knit.
Cast o knitwise (WS).
Back Raglan Buttonhole Band: With RS
facing, A and smaller needles, pick up and
knit 13 sts down side of neckband and
open edge of right back sleeve, then pick
up and knit 13 sts up open edge of right
back. 26 sts.
Next row: (WS). K15. Cast o 2 sts. K5.
Cast o 2 sts. K2.
Next row: Knit, casting on 2 sts over cast
o sts.
Cast o knitwise (WS).
Sew buttons on band to correspond to
buttonholes.
Thread ribbon through eyelet rnd as
shown in picture, having ends meet at
center front.
