FASTER INSTALL
The Speedi-Collar creates a faster connection to both ductboard and sheet metal
trunk lines. The Speedi-Collar features a double sided adhesive gasket, Zip Clips and
pre-drilled sheet metal screw holes for attachment in seconds!
STAY IN PLACE DAMPER
The Speedi-Collar damper design features a ratchet system which locks the damper
in six dierent positions and an internal lip for a tight close. The damper handle sets
o from the collar and can be either covered by the ex duct or metal pipe or left
exposed depending on your installation preferences.
FULL LINE
The take o collar is another component in the Speedi-Boot™ line for all of your
residential, light commercial and retrot needs. Other energy ecient products are
currently in development and will be available in the near future.

The Speedi-Collar is the energy ecient and time saving alternative you’ve been

(based on method of sealing and installation). Current housing market inspection pro-

FIRE TESTED
The Speedi-Collar is UL 2043 Classied. Both the UL and NFPA 90A documents have
claried the applicability of UL 2043 for discrete products used in the air handling
space. Additionally NFPA 90A was revised to state that UL 2043 is to be used to assess
“other discrete products” – not only loudspeakers and recessed lighting xtures.
The updated scope states that UL 2043 is the alternate test method used when UL 723
(E-84 Steiner Tunnel 25/50 test) is not applicable and that this standard is no longer
limited to just electrical products.
CODE ACCEPTED
Speedi-Collars are currently being installed across the U.S. and accepted by code in
most markets. The authority having jurisdiction should be referenced to determine
what law ordinance or code should apply when using the Speedi-Collar. The Speedi-
Collar meets all minimum code requirements in its design.
