This appendix describes the accessories that can help you maximize fire
detection with the SharpEye IR3flame detector:
D.1 Long Range IR3 Fire Simulator
The SharpEye IR3 Long Range Fire Simulator 20/20-310 is designed
specifically for use with SharpEye flame detectors. The Fire Simulator emits
IR radiation in a unique sequential pattern corresponding to and
recognizable by the detector as fire. This allows the detectors to be tested
under simulated fire conditions without the associated risks of an open
flame.
There is an optional beam collimator, model no. 20/20-190, specially
designed for extended test range.
