3.5.1 ATC Request Menu – FANS 1/A+ and ATN B1 CPDLC Common
The ATC Request menu is common to FANS and ATN for constructing downlink messages.

If not logged onto a CPDLC session, attempts to access ALTITUDE, SPEED, or ROUTE MOD
displays this advisory message in the scratchpad:
• NO ACTIVE CPDLC SESSION
The ATC REQUEST MENU also has access to ATS requests if ACARS is configured on the
Envoy.
