4.ExitingofPlaneLokcanbedonebypressingbutton3(ESC).
6.3 Automatic Grade Match
TheGradeMatchmodecanbeactivatedinhorizontalautomatic and
manual mode.
InGradeMatchmode,thelasercanbeusedtomeasuretheexisting
gradevaluebetweentwoknownelevationpoints(upto150m(490ft)
locatedononeaxisateachsideofthelaser
1. Set up the laser over the reference point.
2.AttachtheHL760receivertoagraderod.Checkthelaser’selevation
next to the laser then position the receiver at the second point
WITHOUTchangingthereceiver’selevationontherod.
3.Usethesightingguidesonthetopofthelasertoalignthelasertothereceiver.Turnthelaseronthetripod
untilitisroughlyalignedtothereceiver’sposition(thealignmentrangeforbothaxesis+/-40°).
4.PressandreleasetheMENUbuttonattheStandardDisplayandselectGradeMatch.(Pic15)
5.SelectthedesiredGradeMatchaxisY(Pic16)orX(Pic17;onlyGL622N)thenpressbutton 4 to start
GradeMatch.
Note:Thelaserstartstosearchforthereceiver.AashingReceiverandangle
symbolappears at theselected axis anddisappears when GradeMatch has
been completed.
Whilethelaserissearchingandadjustingthebeamtotheon-gradeposition,the
HL760displayshowsaashing–GM–.
WhenGradeMatchhasbeencompleted,theHL760goesbacktothestandard
elevationdisplay.Theremotecontrolaswellasthelaserwilldisplaythenal
measured grade value.
Note:IfGradematchcan’tbecompletedbycheckingthelimits,thelasercomeswithanErrormessage(Grade
Matchhas Failed) which canbe deleted with button4 (OK).The HL760 goes backto standard elevation
indication.
