2 Using the Android operating system
Select the language
You can select from the following languages: Afrikaans, German, English (UK/US), Spanish,
French, Italian, Portuguese (Portugal or Brazil), Greek, Russian, Korean, or Chinese
(simplified or traditional).
1. In the Apps screen, tap Settings/ Language & input.
2. Select the language you want.

Tap to exit the screen.
Set the time and date
1. In the Apps screen, tap Settings/ Date & time.
2. Do one of the following:
l Tap Automatic date & time to use network time and date settings. Tap Automatic
time zone to use the network time zone.
l Manually set the time and date. Make sure the Automatic are not selected, then tap
the other options on the screen to set the date, time zone, time, time format, and
date format.

Tap to exit the screen.
Using the clock to set alarms
In addition to displaying the date and time, the Clock app can be used as an alarm clock.

To open the Clock app, in the Apps screen, tap .

Tap to open the Alarms screen.
3. On the Alarms screen, select any existing alarm to turn it on (tap the box to the left of
the alarm), or tap the alarm to change the alarm details
To add a new alarm, tap +at the bottom of the screen.
To access more clock or alarm features, for example volume and snooze length, tap at
the bottom of the screen and select Settings.
NOTE – The Clock app also has a stopwatch and countdown timer.
