APPENDIX: E-SATA CONNECTION
Please read the following instructions before using the E-SATA port.
Failure to do so may cause serious damage to the recorded video.
SPECO is not responsible for data loss caused by improper usage.
 Use ONLY a new HDD or a HDD that is approved for the unit.
 Turn off the DVR before plugging the E-SATA HDD.
 DO NOT disconnect the E-SATA port while the DVR power is on.
 The purpose of the E-SATA port is to extend recording capacity.
 Once connected, DO NOT remove or disconnect the E-SATA port from the DVR.
 The E-SATA port is does not support the hot swappable function.
