ASSEMBLY WARNING: Never operate the tool without the safety guard firmly in place. The guard must always be on the tool to protect the user. WARNING: When the tool is equipped with a trimmer head, the line cutter should be mounted onto the safety guard. Failure to comply will result in overly long cutting line and overload the motor. Never use the trimmer head without guard accessory. WARNING: If any parts are damaged or missing, do not operate the brush cutter until the parts are replaced.
ASSEMBLY 2 ATTACHING THE SHOULDER STRAP Put on the shoulder strap. (See Fig. B) Fig.B 3 MOUNTING THE SAFETY GUARD The sheet metal is preassemble. Insert the sheet metal into the safety guard groove. (See Fig. C1) Align the three bigger mounting holes in safety guard and shaft base. Lock the safety guard onto the shaft base with screw bolt. Then align the side holes on safety guard and screw them firmly together with Hex wrench(21). (See Fig.
ASSEMBLY 5 ADJUSTING CUTTING LINE LENGTH The trimmer head allows the operator to release more cutting line without stopping the motor. As line becomes frayed or worn, additional line can be released by lightly tapping (See. Fig. E1) on the ground while operating the trimmer (See. Fig. E2) NOTICE: Line release will become more difficult if the line cutter becomes too dull. NOTICE: The original line length is 330mm. ASSEMBLY 6 REPLACE THE TRIMMER HEAD WITH THE 3-TEETH BLADE (THE TRIMMER HEAD IS FIXED IN THE TOOL IN THE ORIGINAL PACKING ) Insert and keep the shaft lock rod into the hole of trimmer head and loosen the trimmer head by screwing it clockwise. Take away the trimmer head. (See Fig. F1) 1) Stick the stop rod (22) into the hole on the side of trimmer head. 2) Loosen the trimmer head by clockwise. 3) Take away the trimmer head. OPERATION 2 HOLDING THE MACHINE Hold the tool with both hands on the right side of your body. The trimmer head or blade should be parallel to the ground at a proper cutting distance without the operator bending over. (See. Fig. H) Releasing the tool can be achieved in two ways;. Release the strap buckle or press the hook of the strap and take it apart from the tubing clip fixed on the shaft WARNING: When emergency occurs, take it off from your shoulder immediately, no matter what way the strap is in.

MAINTENANCE 5 TO REPLACE THE LINE 5.1 To replace the spool and line complete For your convenience it is recommended you buy spool and line complete. Remove old spool.(See. Fig. F1) Place new spool into cutting head. Release one line from cleat and feed line through eyelet. Repeat for second line. Refit the cap.
