VERSATILE ® ELEVATED VACUUM BREAKER ASSEMBLY
DESCRIPTION
Speakman VERSATILE® chrome plated brass elevated vacuum breaker assembly.
SPECIFICATIONS
½” NPT MALE INLET AND OUTLET.
VACUUM BREAKER ONLY IS APPROVED UNDER ASSE 1001, CSA B64.1.1, & UPC.
SHIPPING WEIGHT: 2.2 LBS.
INSTALLATION
Note: Rough pipe the vacuum breaker per the rough-in below. Do not install in concealed locations or where spillage
under certain service conditions might cause water damage. Avoid continuous pressure applications (shut off valve
downstream of vacuum breaker).
Unscrew inlet union connection. Slip wall flanges onto inlet & outlet pipes. Apply teflon tape or pipe sealant to inlet
& outlet pipe threads. Screw inlet pipe into inlet supply piping behind the wall and wrench tighten. Screw assembly
with outlet pipe into outlet supply piping behind the wall and tighten into position. With the rubber washer in place,
connect union and wrench tighten. Position wall flanges against wall & tighten setscrews. Complete installation of
valving and check all connections for leaks.
