Key click:ClickOnorOffforkeystomakeaclickingsoundwhenpressed.
Beep alert: ClickOnorOffforthesystemtobeepwhensaving,warning,starting,or
shuttingdown.
Sleep delay:ClickOff,or5or10
minutestospecifytheperiodofinactivitybeforethe
systemgoesintosleepmode.
Power delay:ClickOff,or15or30minutestospecifytheperiodofinactivitybeforethe
systemautomaticallyturnsoff.
Connectivity setup
OntheConnectivitysetuppage,youselectoptionsforusingdevicesandforalertswhen
internalstorageisfull.
To configure the system for a printer
1 Setuptheprinterhardware.(SeeinstructionsincludedwiththeprinterorSSeries
stand.)
2 OntheConnectivitysetuppage,clicktheprinterinthePrinterlist.
To configure the system for a DVD recorder or bar code scanner
1 OntheConnectivitysetuppage,dothefollowing:
•(DVDrecorder)IntheVideo Modelist,clickthevideostandard:NTSCorPAL.
•IntheSerial Portlist,clicktheperipheral.
2 Click Ye s torestartthesystem.
3 Attachaserialcable(RS‐232)fromtheserialportonthebackofthesystemto
the
peripheral.
To receive storage alerts
OntheConnectivitysetuppage,selectInternal Storage Capacity Alert.
Thesystemdisplaysamessageifinternalstorageisnearcapacitywhenyouendan
exam.
