In Figure 5 the pins of AS621x are described. External pull up resistors (to VDD) are necessary for the
pins “SDA” and “SCL”.
The pin “ADD0” must not be left unconnected (refer to section 6.3.3 for further details).
The pin “ALERT/ADD1” is used to set the I²C address and has the additional functionality of triggering
an interrupt. In case this ALERT functionality is used, a pull up resistor (to VDD) is necessary. If this
functionality is not used it must be connected to VSS or SCL, depending on the selected I²C address
(refer to section 6.3.3 for further details). It must not be left unconnected.
