13. SleepOut – Command and Self-Diagnostic Functions of

13.1 Register loading Detection
Sleep Out-command (See section 16.1.2.12 Sleep Out (11h)) is a trigger for an internal function of the display
module, which indicates, if the display module loading function of factory default values from EEPROM (or
similar device) to registers of the display controller is working properly.
There are compared factory values of the EEPROM and register values of the display controller by the display
controller. If those both values (EEPROM and register values) are same, there is inverted (= increased by 1) a
bit, which is defined in command 16.1.2.10 “Read Display Self-Diagnostic Result (0Fh)” (=RDDSDR) (The
used bit of this command is D7). If those both values are not same, the bit(D7) is not inverted (= increased by
1)

There is not compared and loaded register values, which can be changed by user (00h to AFh and DAh to
DDh), by the display module.
