36.7 Peripheral Power Consumption
Since USB peripheral complies with the Universal Serial Bus (USB) v2.0 standard, USB peripheral power consumption is
described a specific section
36.7.1 All peripheral except USB
Default conditions, except where noted:
z Operating conditions
z V
VDDIN
= 3.3V
z Oscillators
z XOSC (crystal oscillator) stopped
z XOSC32K (32kHz crystal oscillator) running with external 32kHz crystal
z OSC8M at 8MHz
z Clocks
z OSC8M used as main clock source
z CPU, AHB and APBn clocks undivided
z The following AHB module clocks are running: NVMCTRL, HPB2 bridge, HPB1 bridge, HPB0 bridge
z All other AHB clocks stopped
z The following peripheral clocks running: PM, SYSCTRL
z All other peripheral clocks stopped
z I/Os are inactive with internal pull-up
z CPU in IDLE0 mode
z Cache enabled
z BOD33 disabled
In this default conditions, the power consumption I
default
is measured.
Operating mode for each peripheral in turn:
z Configure and enable the peripheral GCLK (When relevant, see conditions)
z Unmask the peripheral clock
z Enable the peripheral (when relevant)
z Set CPU in IDLE0 mode
z Measurement I
periph
z Wake-up CPU via EIC (async: level detection, filtering disabled)
z Disable the peripheral (when relevant)
z Mask the peripheral clock
z Disable the peripheral GCLK (when relevant, see conditions)
Each peripheral power consumption provided in table x.y is the value (I
periph
- I
default
), using the same measurement
method as for global power consumption measurement
