These bits are unused and reserved for future use. For compatibility with future devices, always write these bits to
zero when this register is written. These bits will always return zero when read.
z Bit 0 – DBGSTOP: Debug Stop Mode
This bit controls the functionality when the CPU is halted by an external debugger.
0: The baud-rate generator continues normal operation when the CPU is halted by an external debugger.
1: The baud-rate generator is halted when the CPU is halted by an external debugger.
