▪ PC system requirements (opera-
ting system): Windows XP, Vista
or Windows 7.
▪ To set up the Bluetooth connection
you must select the “Connect” but-
ton and enter the PIN number from
the OBD-II CarController.
▪ Install the software from the
Cartrend OBD-II CD onto your PC.
Follow the software installation in-
structions.
4.3 PC software installation and
use
ATTENTION: Always disconnect the
Bluetooth OBD-II Car Controller from
the vehicle's OBD-II jack after use!
▪ Select the preferred language and
system unit. The selected element
will be marked with an orange square
(see Image 20). Press the BACK
button on your mobile to return to the
MENU screen. The parameters will
be saved.

▪ Then slide the selection screen up
or down to read the currently active
parameters. Now select the respect-
tive parameters as digital or analogue
display. Press the BACK button on
your mobile to save the setting.
▪ Now also configure the other display
fields. The respective parameter set-
ting will be shown in the display circle
(cf. page 33, Image 19 ). Press the
BACK button again to return to the
main screen.
