SKIN: Flush skin with plenty of soap and water, removing contaminated clothing. If irritation persists, consult a physician.
INGESTION: Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical attentio if symptoms occur.
INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If effects occur, seek medical attention.
NOTES TO PHYSICIAN: Treat symptomatically.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Use extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding fire.
HAZARDOUS COMBUSTION PRODUCTS: Non-combustible. Substance itself does not burn but may decompose upon heating to
produce corrosive and/or toxic fumes.
FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT: As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH
(approved or equivalent) and full protective gear.
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: Emits fumes of sodium oxide. Carbon oxides (COx).
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
WATER SPILL: Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system.
GENERAL PROCEDURES: Avoid dust formation. Sweep up to prevent slipping hazard. Pick up and transfer to properly labeled
containers. Keep in suitable and closed containers for disposal.
RELEASE NOTES: Prevent large quantities of this product from contacting vegetation or waterways.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
HANDLING: Use in well-ventilated areas. Avoid breathing dusts.
STORAGE: Store in original container. Keep container tightly closed. Keep away from acids, aluminum and powdered aluminums.
