COMMENTS: Supplier's Acceptable Limits noted in Section 8 is Dupont's Acceptable Exposure Limit. Where governmentally
imposed occupational exposure limits are lower than Dupont's limits, such limits shall take precendence.
4. FIRST AID MEASURES
EYES: Hold eyelids apart and immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician immediately.
SKIN: Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Call a
physician. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
INGESTION: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Immediately give 2 glasses of water. Never give anything by mouth to an
unconscious person. Call a physician immediately.
INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical
attention.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
FLAME PROPAGATION OR BURNING RATE OF SOLIDS: Product does not flash or burn.
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Use extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding fire. Carbon dioxide is not a suitable extinguishing
media.
FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT: Firefighters should wear self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and full protective gear.
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: Hazardous decomposition products include oxygen, sulfur dioxide, sulfur trioxide.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
SMALL SPILL: Sweep up thoroughly. Avoid dust formation. Flush area with low pressure water.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
WATER SPILL: Avoid runoff to waterways and sewers.
GENERAL PROCEDURES: Evacuate area. Use PPE.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
HANDLING: Use only in well-ventilated areas. Do not breathe dust. Avoid dust formation in confined areas. Avoid contact with
skin and eyes. Keep away from heat and flame. Wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling the product. Handle
in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from heat sources. Protect from contamination. Store in original
container. Keep away from: Combustible material. Never allow product to come in contact with water during storage. Stable
under recommended storage conditions.
