Problem Look for - 1
Not enough heat – Restriction in valve.
– Restriction in gas supply.
– Misalignment of orice tube.
– Clogged orice.
– Incorrect orice.
– Low pressure on gas supply.
– Incorrect gas type.
Too much heat – Incorrect orice.
– Defective or incorrectly set pressure regulator.
– Incorrect gas type.
Burner has blue haze – Misalignment of orice tube.
– Low gas pressure.
– Air intake and/or ue exhaust blocked or restricted.
Burner uttering – Burner’s air shutter needs adjustment (when on LOW setting).
Burner popping – Cracked or loose ceramic.
Slow burner ignition – Incorrect pilot ame length.
– Incorrect pilot alignment.
– Clogged pilot orice.
Pilot will not remain lit – Clogged pilot orice.
– Draft condition.
– Incorrect pilot orice.
– Incorrectly adjusted pilot.
– Air in gas line.
No gas to burner – Gas supply is turned off.
