4.6 FREE STATION
Set up the station with only one control points or
even without any control points, by using the
GNSS position to calculate the coordinate.
STN: Station point. Press [+] to select, input or
measure the control points by GNSS.
BS Pt: Backsight point. Press [+] to select, input or
measure the control points by GNSS.
The backsight point can be an unknown point,
the points you measured under this station can
be considered to measure in a virtual coordinate
system.
After measurement, please finish the reduction
(refers to Chapter 8.2) to convert the points you
measured from virtual to real coordinate system .
