Configuring Apple iOS Wi-Fi Settings

In order for the CL-WiFi application to communicate with the 788T, a device-to-device (ad-hoc) net-

work connection must be established between the CL-WIFI and the Apple iOS device.

1. Make certain the the CL-WIFI interface is connected to the 788T, conﬁ gured, powered on, and

within range. see Connecting the CL-WIFI and Conﬁ guring the CL-WIFI.

2. Enter the iOS Se ings screen and then touch the Wi-Fi bu on to conﬁ gure the device’s wire-

less se ings.

3. If Wi-Fi is set to “Oﬀ ”, touch the bu on to turn it on and wait for a list of available Wi-Fi ac-

cess points.

4. Touch the access point in the list that has the SSID of the CL-WIFI interface. If no WEP se-

curity has been enabled on the CL-WIFI, skip to step 5. If WEP security has been enabled on

the CL-WIFI, you will be prompted for the 10-character passphrase that was entered when

conﬁ guring the CL-WIFI. See Conﬁ guring the CL-WIFI.
