12 _ TROUBLESHOOTING
The device will not
turn on
‐ Ensure the power cable is connected and that
power is flowing.
File date and time
are incorrect
‐ May occur when the vehicle battery is discharged.
‐ Set the time-zone in device Settings.
Delays in video file
loading in PC viewer
‐ Micro SD Card may be infected with a virus.
Format the Micro SD card and try again.
Errors in folder or file
names in PC
‐ The device must be turned off when ejecting the
Micro SD Card. Folder or file name errors may
be caused by failing to turn the device off before
ejecting the Micro SD Card. Format or replace
the Micro SD card.
The device says
“PLEASE CHECK SD
CARD”
‐ An error occurred when saving the file. Format
the Micro SD card. If the Micro SD card is not
recognized or cannot be formatted, replace the
Micro SD card.
