11. STARTING RECORDING: ANONYMOUS MODE
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The procedure described in this chapter is named [Anonymous] / {Anonymous}. This naming
comes from the ID automatically given by Spider SAS when that mode is used.
There are 2 recording modes:
― SAS mode: ECG + SAS recording for 1 or 2 nights if PhysioHub is connected when
starting the recording
― Holter mode: 24 or 48 hours continuous ECG only if PhysioHub is not connected when
starting the recording
NOTE: Spider SAS can start a holter recording and SAS monitoring without the help of
HookUp RS. However, using this method means there is no control of quality signals.
This possibility is particularly interesting when there is no computer available at the location
where Spider SAS would be used. However certain conditions, described below, must be
fulfilled to activate Spider SAS.
LIMITATIONS OF USE
― No battery check
― No signal check
― No Date and Time update
― No duration selection: 2 nights in SAS mode and 48h in Holter mode
― No belt(s) type selection: 2 belts
― All ID fields are filled with [Anonymous] / {Anonymous}
CONDITIONS FOR STARTING A HOLTER RECORDING IN
ANONYMOUS MODE
The recorder starts in holter mode on the following conditions:
― Empty µSD card
― ECG Cable and µSD card in place (see §8)
― No φ Hub connected
― New battery.
CONDITIONS FOR STARTING THE MONITORING OF SAS IN
ANONYMOUS MODE
The recorder starts on the following conditions:
― Empty µSD card
― All sensors, all cables and µSD card in place (see §8)
― New battery.
