BLUETOOTH DONGLE
Before commencing the recording, Spider
SAS must be prepared with HookUp RS
software which requires a BTLE interface.
Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy USB (BTLE)
BlueGiga™ BLED112 is provided with Spider
SAS.
NOTE: Hookup requires a BTLE interface for setting up Spider SAS. The embedded
interface can be used if the laptop is equipped with a Bluetooth Low Energy interface which
integrates a Broadcom, Intel or Texas Instruments chipset. In which case, the BLED112
dongle is not necessary.
HOOKUP RS SOFTWARE
HookUp RS software is provided in the Spider SAS packaging and must be installed before
using the device.
HOW TO OPEN SPIDER SAS
The figure on the left shows how to open
Spider SAS in order to access the battery,
µSD card, on/off button, connectors for ECG
cable and Physio Hub. The patient should be
instructed not to remove the cover under any
circumstances.
➊ Unlock the back side of the SpiderSAS
(using a screwdriver or a coin), press where
indicated with your right thumb, then hold
Spider SAS securely with your other fingers
on the other side.
➋ Open Spider SAS with the nail of your left
thumb by applying a light pressure toward the
back of the device.
