Basic Operations T R Playing a CD Connect the supplied AC power cord (see page 39.) Press & OPEN/CLOSE (direct OPEN/CLOSE power-on) and place the CD on TN the CD tray until it clicks into place. Locating a specific track You can quickly locate any track using the number buttons. You can also find a specific point in a track while playing a I Note You cannot locate a specific track if “SHUFFLE", "REP SHEW” or “PROGRAM"* is lit in the display. Connecting a portable Mini Disc recorder If you connect the Sony portable Misdirect recorder of Sony to this player using the supplied MD connecting cord, you can operate the recorder with the buttons on the player.
