DISPLAYING AND CHANGING SDBTITIES
When playing discs which contain subtitles, you can display the
subtitles on the screen or change the language of the subtitles.
Displaying subtities

Press SUBTITLE ON / OFF during §
^—' playback.
Subtitles will be displayed.

To turn off the subtitles, press SUBTITLE ON / OFF again.
• Some discs have subtitles which are on by default. With
such discs, SUBTITLE ON / OFF may not allow you to
remove the subtitles.
• The 0 symbol will be displayed if you try to show subtitles
with a disc which does not contain them.
Changing the siibtiti
Subtitle 1
The first subtitles displayed will be in the subtitle language
selected with the subtitle setting (see page 25). If there are
no subtitles in that language on the disc, the disc will
determine which subtitles are shown.
Subtitles may only be changed with discs which contain more
than one set of subtitles.
The number of subtitle languages varies from disc to disc.
With some discs, it may take a few moments after you press
SUBTITLE SELECT for the new subtitles to be displayed.
