Chapter search (DVD)
I Press T SEARCH twice, either whiie
piaying or when stopped.
2 Use the numbered buttons to enter the
desired chapter number.
How to enter numbers
Example; to play chapter number 17
Press 1,7 (or +10, 7).
• A or T button is also available to select the desired
chapter number. In this case, press ENTER after
selecting it.
If you enter the wrong number
Press C to remove the number you entered. Then enter
the correct number.
3 Press ENTER or ►PUY.
Playback begins with the specified chapter.
Chapter search will not work if you specify a chapter number which
does not exist on the disc.
Time search (DVD. Video CD with PBC off
audio CD)
With a DVD which allows displaying of elapsed time, you can uj
specify a time on the disc to search for a desired location. ^
Time search within the track being played is possible with audio y-
CDs and video CDs (when PBC is turned off). ^

Press T SEARCH 3 times for a DVD or
twice for others, either whiie piaying or
when stopped.
Use the numbered buttons to enter the
time of the desired iocation.

How to enter numbers
Example; start play at 1 hour, 17 minutes, 30 seconds
(1;17;30)
Press 1 (hour), 1, 7 (minutes), then 3, 0
(seconds).
Example; start play at 8 minutes 7 seconds (0;08;07)
Press 8 (minutes), then 0, 7 (seconds).
If you enter the wrong numbers
Press C several times to remove the numbers you entered.
Then enter the correct numbers.
3 Press ENTER or ►PLAY
Playback begins at the specified location (time).
NOTES
•Time search does not work if you specify a time greater than the
length of the disc.
•Time search may not work with some discs even if they are
capable of elapsed time.
