[134] Troubleshooting | Sound
No TV sounds such as operation sound or audio
response.
TV sounds such as remote control operation sounds and audio responses are not
output because HDMI input audio signals are passed through eARC supported devices
during an eARC connection.
TV sounds are output when you stop watching content from HDMI input devices or
when you disable the [eARC mode] setting.

[135] Troubleshooting | Sound
You cannot establish an eARC connection.
[eARC mode] does not work when the text-to-speech function for on-screen text within
the TV’s accessibility features is enabled.
Connect the audio system to an HDMI cable with Ethernet.
Connect the audio system to the TV’s HDMI input terminal bearing the text “ARC”.
Configure the settings as follows.
[Settings] — [Sound] — [eARC mode] — [Auto]
[Settings] — [Sound] — [Speakers] — [Audio system]
