Using the music player
To adjust the volume of a track
1
When playing a track, tap the screen to show the player controls.

In the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, tap .
You can also adjust the volume using the volume key.
To explore related audio content

From the Home screen, tap "Mediascape".

If the music home screen is not shown, tap "Music" .

In the upper part of the screen, tap "More".

Flick left or right to view items by category.

Browse to an artist, an album or a track.

Tap .

Flick to "PlayNow™ arena" to explore the PlayNow™ service or other available
online services, to "YouTube™" to explore content related to the selected item on
YouTube™, or to "Memory card" to view related content on the memory card.
To view the music player controls
In the music player, tap the screen.
To change tracks
In the music player, tap
or .
To pause a track
In the music player, tap .
To fast forward and rewind music
Drag the progress indicator marker right or left.
To view a current play queue
In the music player, tap the album art when the controls are visible.
To minimise the music player

Press
to change screen, or press to go to the Home screen.

Browse media files, or use other applications while the music player is playing in the
background.
To return to the music player when used in the background

Drag the status bar downwards to open the Notification panel.

Tap the track title to open the music player.
To mark a track as favourite

In the music player, tap the screen if controls do not appear.

In the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, tap . You can now view the track in the
"Favourites" music category when browsing your library.
To remove a track from Favourites

In the music player, tap the screen if controls do not appear.

In the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, tap . The track is removed from the
"Favourites" music category.
To share a track
1
In the music player, tap the screen if controls do not appear.

In the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, tap
.

Select one of the available transfer methods.
