Displaying Battery Information
You can display information fo r each of th e batteries in your notebook . The
following sections briefly describe how to display yo ur no tebook’s general
battery information. Refer to PowerPanel Help for m ore detai led information.
To activate the Battery Information toolbar
1 Right-click the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
2 Select Toolbars from the pop-up menu, and then cl ick Batt ery Information.
The Battery Information tool bar appears on the taskbar.
To view the total charge remaining in the battery, place the pointer over the
battery status icon in the taskbar on t he lower-right corner of the screen .
❑ Percentage indicator — Displays the percentage of the remaining charge.
❑ Time indicator — Displays estimat ed tim e (hours : minutes) remaining
before the battery fully discharges, also known as the time-to-empty.
✍ If the Battery Information toolbar is hidden behind the taskbar icons, right-click the
taskbar and deselect Lock the Taskbar, then click and drag the edge of the Battery
Information toolbar to the left.
